While your organization is new, the map shows Get started, a list of four tasks. Each one ticks itself as soon as it really happens. The list belongs to the whole organization, so every admin and fleet manager sees the same one, on the web and on the phone.

  • Connect your first device ticks when a device of the organization sends its first position. If you already registered it and it has not reported yet, it says Waiting for its first position.
  • Create an alert ticks when the organization has at least one alert rule.
  • Invite your team ticks when someone else is in the organization or an invitation is pending.
  • Get the app ticks when someone in the organization signs in to the phone app.

Using the list

  1. When you tap a task, the app takes you to the screen where it is done.
  2. If a task does not apply to your operation, tap Skip.
  3. If you want to collapse or expand the list, tap the header. On the phone it starts collapsed and shows you the next task.

Hiding it

If you no longer need it, tap Hide this list and confirm with Hide. Nobody on your team sees it after that. It also goes away by itself once every task is done or skipped.

To see it again on the web, open the Help menu (the "?" button in the top bar) and tap Get started. Next to it you see how many tasks are done, for example "2 of 4". If you open the web on a phone, it is under More, and in the app it is in Management › Help. It only shows up while some tasks are still pending.

The map tour

The map tour doesn't start by itself when you come in, but you can open it whenever you want. On the web it is in the Help menu › Map tour, and on the phone, in Management › Map tour.
